Texas City does NOT have a Team and will be Forfeiting their Games with us on Tuesday, September 6th. However, Houston Lamar had the same thing happen to them for next Thursday, September 8th and asked us to come to them. We Accepted so please make arrangements if you need to adjust your schedules for next Thursday.

Also, on Saturday we will play 4 Games at Spring Branch ISD Natatorium. We were already scheduled to play Foster but have been looking to add a team to have a double header. Houston Memorial filled that spot and will be the host as well. See Game Schedule Below:

We will meet at the Bwood pool at 7:30 AM.

The Boys play at 10:00 AM / 2:00 PM

The Girls play at 4:00 PM / 6:00PM

Saturday will be a long day and it will be extremely important to stay hydrated. We will give you 3 bottles of water to put in your bag. Bring more if you prefer. We have been wasting water during games and in our team area. You should also bring a personal water bottle to refill at Strake as needed with their filtered water system. Please keep it with your belongings.

Lunch will be provided around 11:30, however you will also want to bring snacks. Girls arriving later will have lunch waiting.

Sunscreen and a hat and/or sunglasses will help with the heat and being outdoors.

Again, I can’t stress enough how important it will be to pack water and snacks for yourself.

Alternate Transportation

Girls may make arrangements for transportation to Strake. Please arrive by 2:30 PM and check in. Boys may make arrangements for transportation home after their last game. Email Coach brown if you will be making alternate travel plans.

Games are on this evening at Strake Jesuit HS. The weather appears to be cooperating. We are meeting at the pool after 6th Period and leaving ASAP. Our game schedule will be Boys at 4:00 vs Woodlands, Girls at 5:00 vs Foster, Boys at 6:00 vs Foster, and Girls vs Woodlands at 7:00.

No Practice Friday. Rest Day! We will meet in Room 1200 on Main Campus for Athletics Periods.

Tuesday, August 23rd
Athletes will need to meet at the Lake Jackson Rec Center today for our games vs Galveston Ball. No Transportation will be provided to/or from the Rec Center so be sure to grab your suit, towel, and any other items you may need before going home today. You can come by the pool immediately after school if you need it out of your locker. I will not have extra suits. You must have a TEAM suit or one approved by Coach Brown or Coach Haner.

1st and 8th Periods will meet on Main Campus in Coach Brown’s classroom. It is located on the first floor – Room 1200. We will have one practice after school for both girls and boys from 3:30ish until 6:00ish.

I highly recommend that everyone arrive to school early as traffic will likely be moving slowly.

Anyone practicing in the morning will need to enter the school through the 9th Grade Performance Gym using Door #44. This includes anyone dropped off in the morning.
